By accessing or using the Technical Art Awards platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Platform.
- Nominees must be real individuals who have contributed to the field of technical art.
- Self-nominations are permitted through the nominee portal.
- Nominators must provide a valid email address and accurate information.
3. Nominations
- All nominations are subject to review and approval by the Technical Art Awards team.
- We reserve the right to reject any nomination for any reason, including but not limited to: inappropriate content, spam, or inaccurate information.
- Nominations must relate to genuine technical art achievements and contributions.
- You must have the right to submit any materials (files, links, descriptions) included in your nomination.
- Nominations may be displayed publicly on the Platform once approved.
4. Content Ownership
- You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Platform.
- By submitting content, you grant the Technical Art Awards a limited, non-exclusive license to use, display, and promote the content for awards evaluation, ceremony display, and promotional purposes as described in our Content License Terms.
- You represent that you have the right to submit all content and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent nominations
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to submit nominations or votes
- Attempt to manipulate voting results or scoring
- Upload malicious files or code
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- Use profanity, hate speech, or discriminatory language
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Attempt to access admin, judge, or other restricted areas without authorization
- Circumvent rate limits, security measures, or access controls
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
6. Judging Process
- Judges are selected by the Technical Art Awards organizing committee.
- Judging criteria and scoring are at the discretion of the judges and organizers.
- All judging decisions are final.
- Judges' identities may or may not be publicly disclosed.
- Fan favorite voting during the live event is separate from judge scoring.
7. Live Event
- Chat messages during live events are subject to content moderation.
- We reserve the right to remove messages or ban users who violate these terms.
- Live event features (chat, voting, reactions) require a display name but not an account.
- Chat messages may be retained for moderation and archival purposes.
8. DMCA & Takedowns
If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown request through our DMCA page. We will review and respond to valid takedown requests in accordance with applicable law.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Technical Art Awards Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy of nominations, the availability of the Platform, or the outcome of any awards process.
10. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users of significant changes.
